On tap @ Kulminator. This is a deeper dark copper brown looking one. A good looking lasting beigeish head safely placed on the top. Lots of lacings. It smells really good. Sweet with burnt sugars, dark candied goodness. A little wood hint, something almost spicy. Vanilla and clove. Enjoyable to just sit and smell at. It tastes really good also. Smooth and not far from velvety in the mouth, gently to average carbonated. Slight burnt sugar in the taste as well. A little burnt wood as well. Warming but still well hidden abv. Spicy tail with a good amount of balancing bitterness. Yeah, not bad at all this. 06.03.2018 evergreen0199 (3671) - Northwood, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 19, 2018
Bottle at the 11th Brugge beer Festival, Brugge, Belgium. A murky dark brown coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Sweet, orange, caramel, dark fruit on the nose. Tastes similar, sweet, orange, caramel, dark fruit, warming and boozy. Very nice on a freezing cold day in Brugge. nathanvc (921) - Brugge, BELGIUM - FEB 6, 2018

Hazy brown with a frothy, beige head. Aroma of green apple, pear, orange liqueur, malt, sugar and vanilla. Tastes medium fruity sweet and light to medium hoppy/woody bitter; woody, nice, alcoholic finish. Full body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Strong, but never exaggerated. Good stuff.
From a 375 ml bottle. Pours a murky dark brown with an ecru head. Aromas are caramel, toffee, and fruit cake. Flavor is pretty sweet, dominated by caramel malts, with a hint of oak barrel. Pretty tasty. Wim (4274) - Weelde, BELGIUM - JAN 21, 2018

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2018 Donkerbruin bier zonder schuimkraag. Aroma van alcohol, sinaasappel, hout. Zoet, wat zurig op de nasmaak. Zacht. Vrij volle body. Lekker, maar minder complex dan ik gedacht zou hebben. vinivini (3284) - Gomel, BELARUS - NOV 6, 2017
Tap. Hazy brown. Stable ivory-coloured head. Aroma: lots of pleasant esters, nuts, rich malts, fruit, just a hint of tannins. Medium to full body. Light to medium sweetness. Malty, nutty. Vinous, fruity. Light bitterness. Perfect balance. Delisious. kapusil (1598) - Budapest, HUNGARY - SEP 15, 2017
0.375l bottle thanks to Lore. Hazy dark brown body with no head. Aroma of toast, orange zest, dark sugar, brandy, wood, cloves, caramel and wood. Taste of orange zest, dark sugar, apples, caramel, wood, maple syrup and booze. Light medium bodied and flat. Not an everyday beer for sure, but it's still great. Lore (3065) - Budapest, HUNGARY - SEP 15, 2017
Brown colour, almost no head at all, only some off-white lacing; aroma of dark chocolate, dried sour cherry soaked in cognac, orange zest, port wine notes and alcohol; taste of dark chocolate, dried plum and cherry, spicy alcohol, licorice and burnt caramel notes; great quadrupel FatPhil (17731) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - AUG 23, 2017

Sweet datey and raisiny aroma, very sweet, says it’s going to be heavy. Dark red, hazy-ish, brief head. Sweet taste, heavy palate, malty and more dates. Leaves you with some sweet spirity vapours. Heavy, but not too heavy.
