Bottle - 330ml. Pours a cloudy brown body with a good, slowly fading, beige creamy head. Well balanced malty/hoppy aroma with fruity, woody, and yeasty hints. Coffee and alcohol are subtle. Its robust, complex malty/hoppy taste carries oaky, plummy, yeasty, and coffeeish notes. Ends with a long, moderately warming, woody/fruity finish. Good stuff.

Pachnie karmelem, rodzynkami i ciut kawą. W smaku przerażająco pusto, mało typowo quadowych akcentów, trochę fig, daktyli, kawa w aftertaste. Ogólnie jest pusto. I słabo.

Dark mahogany pour, medium beige head. Aroma is alot of dark fruit, some bitter coffee beans, with some dry cereals. Mouth feel is crisp, and clear, and the carb is spot on. The finish is dry, and malty, with more fruity esters with some light coffee. I wouldn’t have guessed the two would go well together, but who knew.... Quad and coffee. Tasty!

bottle. Dark ruby/purple pour, off-white head dissipated quickly. I found the coffee flavour quite light, mostly present in the more bitter finish. Otherwise dark fruits and plum ,earth. On the bitter side for a quad but it works nicely.

Thick creamy beige head stayed on a very dark brown still body. Dark sweet coffee, plum , dark fruit & caramel aromas, slightly boozy. Smells fantastic! Smooth, thick & creamy to the fore with a sharper tingly back. On the front it’s quite sweet with coffee, dark sugar & malt this slowly dissipates over the tongue to light fruity tastes with a tang & slightly bitter coffee & aniseed aft.

Bottled. Almost completely black body, small beige head. The aroma is raisins, sweet molasses and oak. The taste is very belgian, like chimay red, only sweeter.

330 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours an orange-tinged dark brown with fairly large light tan head. Aroma is coffee, toffee, dark fruit and some Belgian yeast. Flavour has assertive coffee, raisin, cherry, toffee, leather and Belgian yeastiness. Fine, lively carbonation. Nice.
