Purchased in Dillon Colorado. Tasted at Keystone. Tasted in incorrect glassware for the style. Pours a brown / copper colour. Thin white head, sustained during the rating. Aroma of alcohol and sweetness. Have to say, aroma was not leading me to believe this is a world class quad. Flavour is more subtle and less garish than aroma - malty, sweet and has a more hoppy finish. Gorm (1899) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JUL 31, 2015
Brun farve med høyt kremet beige skum. Lukt av røstet malt og kakao. Smak av røstet malt og kakao. Fruktig og søt. Vinmonopolet. MrTipple (5288) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2015
Aroma: intense caramel malt, some toffee, some alcohol, dark fruits. Appearance: dark brown, small, creamy, beige head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: very intense sweets, lightly dry, molasses and caramel, dark fruits again, very soft carbonation. Overall: nice Quadruple, not quite up there with the best as it lacks subtlety and convexity. Bottle from Wittich Weine und Biere, Olten. yngwie (17074) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 24, 2015
Bottle. An unclear, dark golden beer topped by a big, dense, beige head. The aroma is fruity and sugary, with alcohol warmth, some dried fruits and a grassy, malty touch. It’s warming and full-bodied with a nice carbonation level. It’s sweet and malty on the palate, with caramel malts and a touch of dried fruits. Not much of a Quad, but it’s drinkable anyway. Boring. 150724 Geokkjer (7627) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 24, 2015

Bottle drank while brewing: pours murky dark brown with fluffy cream head. Some lacing. Nose of caramel, earth malts, fig, some biscuit notes, and dank Belgian yeast. Spices are prevalent with some subtle dark fruits, cola, brown sugar Sweetness but none of the prune and alcohol notes that sometimes show up in bad quads. We really dig this offering

Dark brown in colour. Aroma of caramel, some chocolate, dried fruits and alcohol. In taste medium sweet, fruity and malty. Full body but in the finish quite dry. Medium bitterness, finish slightly alcoholic. In overall solid quad. Bosskie (900) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 14, 2015
Opaque farm brown beer with a week head and some yeast.
Smell is caramel, chocolate with some alcohol, leather. Raisins, pears, toffee, apples. Honey. Herbs.
Taste is bitter-sweet with some sourness. The bitterness is hoppy and alcoholic, with heavy honey-caramel sweetness. Dry sticky finish, with nice development. northropfrye (3643) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUL 13, 2015
Bottle at Gambrinus Bruges . Anise dried fruit in the aroma . Even a bit of roast coffee. Decent quad but not spectacular . cards04 (2822) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUL 13, 2015
A pretty good quad. Dark prune colour. Aromas of coffee and dark dried fruit. Similar flavour. Dark, sweet, and a bit roasty.
