On tap the brewpub, Uehlfeld, 8/8/2015. Clear gold with a frothy, white, head. Easy drinking, sweetish, beer, with some cereal mlats, touch of caramel and a decent, bitter finish. A decent drink on a blazing hot day. AlJunior (23) - Bavaria, GERMANY - MAY 22, 2015
Getrunken in der Brauerei. Sehr schlechte Schaumhaltbarkeit. Helle sonnengelbe Farbe. Malzig süßlicher Antrunk. In der Mitte recht flach. Im Abgang metallisch. Keine merklichen Hopfenaromen. 3fourths (9347) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - APR 1, 2015
Draft at the brewery in Uehlfeld. Clear and still with a fine white head. Aroma and flavor show both diacetyl and DMS, the latter being more dominant, the impression is like buttered corn and cauliflower. There’s some acetone dirtiness in the nose and fiery acids on the tongue. Horribly dirty beer that the locals put down with ease.

Many thanks to kevnic2008 for this bottle! Smooth and slightly sweetish malty beginning. Very smooth and soft. Easy to drink with a nice malty sweetness. Not to deep, but for a "Helles" great. Malty-smooth aftertaste with nearly no bitterness. Great and not too sweetish session-beer. Koelschtrinker (20412) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JAN 2, 2015
Grasig süßlicher Antrunk, süffig. Milder Mittelteil, geringe Herbe. Dunkler Hopfen, frisch, kernig. 8/10/9/10/9/11

Pours a clear golden yellow, large white head. Grainy, malty, slightly hoppy. MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - APR 30, 2012
(draught at the brewpup & bottle at home) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Mildly sweet pale malty aroma with delicately notes of herbal and citric hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Slightly biscuity malt-character with a mild hops dosage, containing herbal and subtle fruity accents; sweet-bitter and slightly hoppy finish. A decent brew; too bad they do not have the Schnapperla regularly on tap. 21. & 26.IV.12 Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 11, 2011
UPDATED: JUL 12, 2011 It’s unclear golden with a light grey hue and a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, hay and flower. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of caramel, malt and fruit, and the finish is slightly dry. fonefan (49399) - VestJylland, DENMARK - MAY 21, 2011

Draught @ Brauerei Prechtel, Hauptstrasse 24, Uehlfeld, Bavaria Germany 91486.
Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted - pale malt, light hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
On tap at the brew-pub: Golden coloured, mid-sized and lacing white head; mild, but distinctive citrousy-herbal-hoppy and sweet-pale-malty aroma; light bitter-sweetish flavour, soft MF, light bodied; delicate aromatic-hoppy finish. Not bad, but not very aromatic.........
