Bright amber color. Nice aroma, sugary, with a note of oxidisation similar to a Sherry, although followed by some dust and phenol. Sweet flavor, but the mouthfeel is lean; it has a mild fruity character, of berries; the final is weaker and rather short.
Simple but pleasant.

Bottled. An amber mead. The aroma has notes of alcohol, honey, and wax. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey, alcochol, and flowers, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle, 13.5%. Not much aroma, a little woody. Dark amber colour. The flavour is nicely sweet and spicy, hint of tobacco and wood. Well-balanced, could even have been sweeter.
