Brewed since 1921, Cristal is Peru’s No. 1 selling beer, combining a light-bodied liquid with strong Andean imagery. It has been the No. 1 selling U.S. import from South America over the last eight years, primarily appealing to the approximately one million Peruvian consumers in the U.S.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden yellow with small white head. Light aroma of corn ans adjunk. Light body, thin texture. Average carbonation. Not much to it. But... it is country #50 for me.

Admitedly I’ve been spoiled this week with beer, but this is heavily terrible on any metric. Kind of like treated sewer water. Tangy mash white out finish. Reminds me of the polluted river that rolls through Lima. Anything but crystal in any case... Bottle at a Peruvian party.

Typical cheapo import. A bit more bitter than the American but also a bit sweet and oxidized. Tastes pretty fine to me but I still prefer a PBR.

Bottle at a crappy Peruvian restaurant. Basically piss in a bottle. Color of urine. Taste of what a urinal smells like. Nasty. Wasted $4-. Would never recommend.

minutemat (5500) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 12, 2016
330ml bottle @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, May 16. Pours pale yellow, thin white head. No real sweetness with faint herbal notes. Safe, boring, uninteresting eurolager.

From the can received in trade from jcwattsrugger. Thanks jc. It pours a golden, heady yellow. Big adjunct aroma of rice, metal. corn. bread, and grassy hops. Light body. The taste tends to be bready and biscuit-like with a more vibrant grassy bitter finish than I expected.

33cl bottle. Thin then disappearing white-straw/pale yellow. A-bready. T-sweet bread-lt malt, some grassy hops.

sinfull (1655) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - MAR 26, 2016
Low quality, macro lager . Weak aroma of malt and grass . Sweet and empty taste . Some weird, cardboard notes.

ruigo (2948) - PORTUGAL - MAR 14, 2016
33cl bottle. Clear golden colour with a nice white head. Hay and malt in the aroma. Average carbonation and light body. Taste is light bitter. Overall, another lager.
