Bottle, 33cL. Home. A golden beer ; rare bubbles ; medium white head ; ok retention ; ok lacing. Grain, light metallic, light herb. Light sweet, light acid, light dry bitter refreshing. Light body, thin tetxure, average ok carbonation, dry grainy acid finish. Overall, meh ; not so herbal for a pilsener as said on the label ; light of course, quite refreshing though.

Bebida en vaso a partir de botella de 33 cl. Una pale lager floja. No aporta nada. Ni su aroma escaso, ni su apariencia amarillo pálido, ni su sabor a malta de cebada ni su paladar casi inexistente. Prescindible y no demasiado barata.

It’s beer. It’s made in the Dominican Republic. I’m in the Dominican Republic. I drank it. Now I drank a beer here. That’s about the best that can be said about this beer. Just another meh pale lager.

Bottle on my honeymoon. Poured a clear, very pale yellow color, with a fizzy white head. Aroma of corn, cereal grains. Light sweetness. Corn finish. At least it is crisp.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7622) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 21, 2017
Sampled from a 12 oz green bottle this beer poured a very pale golden color with a huge foamy orange-white head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was sweet and perfumey. The flavor was sweet and tangy then grassy and perfumey. Medium length finish. Light to medium body. Exceeded expectations.

Draft: Poured a pale yellow color ale with a light pure white foamy head with limited retention and light lacing. Aroma is completely dominated by adjunct notes with residual sugar notes. Taste is a gross mess of adjunct and residual sugar notes. Body is light with OK carbonation. Not only bland but mostly dominated by gross adjunct notes.

355ml bottle in Santa Clara, Cuba (1 CUC):
This one was an decent enough beer for what it was & since I was expecting a lot worse, this one proved to be fairly enjoyable & a pleasant first beer from the Dominican Republic for me. It was definitely a basic offering with fairly standard flavours coming through but it was also clean, quite crisp & refreshing in the heat, going down as easily as you can expect from a lager. There was some corn & basic adjuncts making up most of the taste but the hints of citrus & the earthy malts weren’t too bad meaning it’s probably not one I’d go for in the UK but it went down a treat in the Caribbean.
