(Sample at September 12, 2008 Beer Club Meeting) Very clear color, thinly carbonated, which produced a nice and frothy head. Its aroma... smells like cardboard. Its taste is clean and plant-like. A typical Latin American lager. Not one of the best, that’s for sure. Run of the mill, but still worth the experience. KUEric (977) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - SEP 7, 2008
An average pale ale. What do you really expect?
It has some grass flavor but thats about it. bsm80 (144) - Massapequa Park, New York, USA - SEP 6, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 8, 2008 Very light pour, also light taste, I wouldn’t say watered down but nearing that. It had enough of a sweet malt lively flavor to call it a decent beer, quite refreshing too. ditmier (1508) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 4, 2008
2008 Bottle in St Barths - When you get tired of Carib, you drink Presidente...Pours light yellow with a small white head and little lacing...aroma is basic grass malt, flavour is light grain and I actually picked up a bit of malty spice, but that might have been the sun playing tricks on me...basic caribbean lager...what’re gonna do?? italianjohn (3193) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 30, 2008

Had it when it was over a 100 degrees in the Dominican. We’d been horseback riding for over an hour. Cost me less than a buck for .5 L, and helped myself from an ice cold fridge. My memory tells me that was a fantastic drink at the time. It did prickle the palate a bit. wilkie (1208) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - AUG 5, 2008
Large Brown bottle, purchased at local Kroger. Pours pale yellow, with a fizzy white head that disperses very quickly. Aroma is off-putting--sweet, with a tad bit of cereal, astringent grainy odors. Flavor is watery, weak, somewhat sweet, but rather unimpressive. Ykk! The "Serve in" section should just say "Keep it in the bottle and insulate with brown paper bag." Bottle from Ivan. Hmmm. Sometimes I wonder why I, as a beerdreamer, drink beer like thisone. Ok, if I should go to latin-America, I know I won’t buy this brew. Roskilde om mandagen! SSSteve (4006) - - JUL 25, 2008
a crystal clear gold beer with very little lacing and a small frothy white head. bright, grainy aroma with a touch of lemon, and young adults. flavor is sweet and grainy with a hint of some young adults. smooth palate, not sharply carbonated. made with grits...sweet. stangger (619) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 14, 2008
12oz bottle in Miami. I’m pretty sure there’s a giant brewery somewhere in the Caribbean which pumps out one beer into a dozen or so different bottles, and they’re all the official beer of <insert island name>. This is probably my favorite of the bunch, although that’s not saying much. It reminds me a bit of Yuengling from back home, so chalk it up to nostalgia.
