This seems to be the only beer that you can get in the Dominican. The draught seems a little watered, but out of the bottle... it’s great. Valfar (78) - San Miguel, EL SALVADOR - OCT 24, 2013
Let’s go with a good beer from the Dominican Republic. This is the beer that at the beginning you are not interested to, but one day you decide to give it a try and you really like it. It has a malty/cereal aroma that makes you want to drink it at once. Also, it has a sweet medium taste, very enjoyable and in adition its body is kind of medium with a blond color. From The Caribbean, my favorite one. ordybill (1731) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - JUL 16, 2015
Poured from a 330 ML bottle into a pint glass. Not a lot of BA love for this brew. I find it to be a great session beer for the hot summer months. It is not a craft brew nor is it packing an overwhelming flavor. But, i do find it very enjoyable. ElPresidente1984 (173) - Maine, USA - NOV 5, 2005
I am partial, being from the Dominican Republic. This beer may not be for the more snobbish beer enthusiast. pours light yellow,a bit of a skunky aroma easy to drink. Must be enjoyed ice cold on a 90 degree caribbean beach. when enjoyed this way the flavor is secondary, its the whole enviroment that matters. what can i say i grew up on this stuff. mattcolo99 (27) - USA - JAN 11, 2002

IN dominican, this is what they drink. It was on tap, never had it out of the bottle. It tasted quite watery, but not a bad taste. phillynitro (3) - , Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 5, 2008 does not count

Lager style, Little Head, not particularly notable, marginally better than most domestic beers. I had this many years ago, but just had a bottle the other night. Decent all around. ronaldtheriot (1918) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - OCT 10, 2010
Presidente has a thick, white head and a very clear, golden appearance. Carbonation is relatively high. Aroma is skunky at first sniff, but that quickly dissipates, and is replaced by a typical beer smell. The taste is a nice balance of grains and hops, with a faint corn back flavor. Mouth-feel is light and watery, and Presidente finishes refreshing, satisfying, crisp, and slightly dry. Overall, I enjoyed this and think it’s a very good Hispanic beer. I would like to have it again.
