COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled; Regular. ABV varies.
NOTE: As explained by the brewery in the commercial description, this beer is often made to varying recipes with different hops. Please make sure you put your review under the correct entry. The hops used are clearly identified on the label so there’s no excuse!

Everyone likes a pale ale and we’re no different. We like to mix up the aroma hops a bit and you will find that Pale Fire comes in different versions sometimes. We have hopped with Mosaic and Amarillo, Amarillo and Citra, Nelson Sauvin and others including the legendary Hop X, an English trial-hop being developed by Dr Peter Darby at Wye Hops.

Craft Beer Co., Covent Garden. Tap. Foamy cream, hazy pale yellow. Grass and green papaya nose. Clean, lightly bitter fresh cut fruit sip. Fairly tropical, with lime. Snappy, clean but delicious sip. Fair coating, medium bitterness. Some melon, gourd, grass. Nice beer.

Pours muddy pale amber with a sparse head. Nose is citrus and some earthiness. Taste is very much the same. I always tend to find pressure drop beers have this characteristic earthiness regardless of hop variety. Okay, but wouldn’t drink again.

Aus der Flasche getrunken (Händlerlieferung). Leicht trübes Gold im Glas mit starker weißer Schaumkrone. Fein abgestimmtes APA ohne übertriebene Restbittre.

Keg. A typical craft Pale Ale, with a nice cloudy appearance and plenty of piney hops in the mouth and on the nose. It woke up the palate and was really very nice.

Buoni e invitanti profumi di frutta tropicale. Al palato si ripresenta la frutta tropicale e le pesche ma senza emergere. Beverina ma un po’ banale.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s, Bethnal Green, London, UK. Colour is pale yellow, with a nice white head. Aroma is cereal, citrus hops, floral, pine. Good. Taste is not as good as the aroma. All is poor and a little bit watery. Light sweet and light bitter. Body is light, carbonation is fine. Not so good...
