This is an amazing beer to accompany Indian food. There is a herbal quality that is very pleasant. It's not bitter but not sweet either.

Keg at Leeds International Beer Festival. 4.0%. Cloudy straw colour. One of the brewers invited me to guess the herb in this. The nearest I got was fennel. (Well, thats what the missus thought). He then went on to say he wanted this to taste a bit like a red sauce. I thought, oh yeah, it does too. Slightly spicy, fruity. Good job. Except later his colleague said to me, "Bread sauce, not red sauce!". I’m not really cut out for this tasting lark... cgarvieuk (24462) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 25, 2013

Bottle from ales by mail. Love the artwork!davidtjm (1074) - Berlin, GERMANY - MAR 7, 2015
hazy burnished gold with fluffy white head collapsing to a mere lacing. Spicey, slightly tart aroma of cloves, black pepper and lemon peel. Medium body and full of flavour for its fairly diminutive strength. Interesting peppery tingle and a woodsy sage like herbal note, slight szechwan like tongue tingle in a dry finish. Its like a grisette saison.
Tap. Pour is gold with a frothy head, aroma is strong citrus, banana. Taste is citrus, clove. Good

Fruity and gingery aroma. Tastes like ginger beer. Cloudy gingery appearance. Quite a bit of sediment.

Backlog rating. Bottle from Oddbins London Bridge. It pours a hazy light straw color with a medium white soapy white head. Aroma is grassy and herbal with citrus and banana notes. Taste is medium bitter with light grains, more grassy hops and an interesting herbal profile alongside orange peel. Light to medium body with good carbonation. Overall, I enjoyed this one quite a lot. 6bottlepack (414) - Devon, ENGLAND - AUG 20, 2016

Hazed light yellow with a white head that clears to edgeing and filmage.
Nose carries herbs, clove, lemon, yeast, orange pith.
Taste comprises light wheat, herbs, spice, citrus, bready notes, orange.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light bittern notes in the finish.
A really decent effort from a new brewery and lots of flavour for 3.4%!
