Small shared bottle during RBHD geocatching session. Clear pale golden body with a white rim. Sugary nose. Watery and light bodied with a sharp carbonation. Light sweet and papery bitter.

12 oz bottle at 5.6% ABV. Pours pale golden-amber with a largish head that displays good retention. O: a Carribean made Heineken pale lager, complete with mild bitterness and a faint skunkiness. Better than expected but the idea of a beer from Haiti is a bit scary.

Cunningham (7548) - Halden, NORWAY - SEP 10, 2014
Clear pale golden with a bubbly head that soon vanish completely. Not even a thin white layer. Not to bad aroma. Tad sweet caramel malty and mild grainy. Medium body. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Flavor….hmmm yeah there are some. Absolutely not the worst around. Mild sweet caramel malty, mild herbal hoppy and some fruity notes. No vegetables! Yes. Not any fancy stuff this. But lager rarely are. Not skunky and full of cooked vegetables as many others of its kind. Looks really bad, but quite drinkable on a hot sunny day.

Bottle from the sister. Pours a clean lemon yellow. Almost no head. Bread, mild lemon, paper and light skunk on nose. Light body. High carbonation. Corn and honey interspersed with some actual grain flavors. Focus, and you even find some faint grassy hops with a lemon affect. Finishes sweet. Aspartame mouthfeel. Not horrible. In fact, apart from the chemical mouthfeel, drinkable.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2014 Watery lager with unpleasant skunky, perfumed hops and a long, tart finish and aftertaste reminiscent of unwashed socks. The perfect evidence that no matter how awful your beer is, there is a medal out there for you to win.

12 oz bottles This was the beer drink in Haiti. The pale lager has a thin, white head with a straw-like appearance. The aroma is faint of sweet malt.. The taste of this beer was refreshing after spending the whole day in the dusty humid heat of Haiti. The flavors mostly of barley malt, and grains. There is some hop bitterness. The medium body lager had average carbonation. The lager again finished with a refreshing crisp taste.

SHIG (4952) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - JUL 22, 2014
Bottle thanks to my Father-in-Law: Poured a cloudy super carbonated bubbling yellow to golden with a bubbly white head. The aroma is a blast of skunkcock right in the nasal, some sour grain. Taste is not as bad as I expected sweet grass a little watery and grain.

Atlanta, Ga. - Total Wines - Perimeter - stubby 12 oz bottle (methinks the Red Stripe bottles had something to do with this). Medium gold pour, slight just off-white head that hangs around for a minute or two. Aroma has some ashtray accents, a touch of spent grain, some wet paper bag. Flavor is somewhat bland, but not altogether foul tasting or drainpour worthy. Pick up some spent grainy notes, a brief mention of corn and some trailing honey sweetness. Mouthfeel is actually smooth and creamy for a tropical lager. Add another country to the pile - Haiti - and honestly the only reason I bought this.
