COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
YEAST: a blend of English & German ale strains. BITTERNESS: was meant to be around 25 but drinks like its 40+. INGREDIENTS: pale malt, red wheat, linden flowers, Bramling Cross and New Zealand Southern Cross hops (lots of Southern Cross hops actually). CHARACTER: pale, slight acidity from wheat, a quick drinker, lots of pungent dry hop character with the Linden flower just beneath.

Bomber from Julios. Pours out a hazy light yellow brew. Frothy white head that settles to a thin lace. Light bready-spice flavors. Some citrus, some floral notes. Very drinkable. Much more interesting than most American style wheat ales.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours cloudy golden-orange with a small white head. The nose is soft, juicy, apricot, mango, sherbet, earth and wheat. The taste is apricot, mango, earth, yoghurt, sherbet, hay, minerals, creamy and alka seltzer with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Smooth, balanced and easy-going. Nor bad.

Bottle shared in London - picked up in MA. Pours cloudy yellow-orange with a frothy white head. Pleasant dried lemon aroma, some pine needles, pale bread. Medium sweet flavor with lightly tangy citrus, ripe lemon, weat bread, faint melon and grass. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with some bitter grass and citrus rind, further wheat bread, ripe lemon. Pretty well balanced. Tasty.

Bottle from Slowbeer (Feb 2014). Slightly hazy orange/gold, small white head, floral/herbal aromas with doughy wheat, dry herbal tang, medium citrusy bitterness, bready malt finish. Very nice, if a bit different.

Pours hazy orange with a fading head. Nose shows a floral/fruity note with elderflower and some doughy wheat before a little passion fruit enters. Similar fruity flavours with some green plant-like floral notes. Very refreshing stuff. Nice moderately high carbonation.

Aroma has citrus, biscuit, bread dough, and a little flowery funk. Spicy, fruity flavor, with citrus and flowery hops in the finish. Wheat ale isn’t my favorite style, but this is a really solid beer and worth finding.
