2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bomber from Julio’s
pours hazy golden with a nice creamy white head, belgian yeast aroma, some grain character, flavor is unremarkable, some peppery spiciness (presumed to be from the yeast) but I don’t detect any cherries,
an OK belgian saison, nothing too exciting
Bottle more than three years old, pours clear golden with a honey hue and bubbling with a big white head. The aroma still has some cherry notes, but the golden yeast come through predominantly. Flavors of the sweet, light syrupy malts is mostly what you get on the palate, with light cherry notes at the end settling on the tongue after swallowing. Easy going on the palate for sure and the body has maintained excellence for the style. bhensonb (15760) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 17, 2012
Bottle shared by IrishBoy. Pous clear orange with an off-white head. Aroma is sour light stone fruit. Med body more or less. Flavor is tart, farmyard, reddish pitted fruit. Finishes tart and sour. marcus (10680) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUN 17, 2012
Bottle shared by irishboy. Pours golden with a thin off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is an interesting funky fruit flavor with some apple and cherry and a dry spicy finish. IrishBoy (4233) - Bakersfield, California, USA - JUN 16, 2012
Bomber from Odeed. Nose is cherries, a slight touch of funk, and caramel. Clear yellow with a medium cream head. Flavor is lightly sweet, caramel, horseblanket, and cherries. j12601 (13114) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - FEB 10, 2011
Bottle. Pours an almost clear gold with a large creamy white head. Looks like it has held up fairly well so far. Somewhat fuzzy almost sour notes with hints of cherry and wheat. Nice lightly tart cherry flavor, very light though, I would love to see something like this soured up and sat on for a year. Somewhat sweet, a bit of age is evident, sweet and lightly funky in places. Finishes with a nice bitterness and a bit more age, and some lingering sweetness.

22 oz bottle sent to me by alagnak. Bottled June 2009 one off on the label. Pour is a cloudy orange dark golden with a big three inch foamy head. Very unfiltered looking. Aroma is dusty grain, cherry fruit and skin, and some sour citrus. Taste is mildly tart and sour cherry on top of the malt earthiness. The straw maltiness is the more dominant flavor. Unique flavor, which features a slightly phenolic finish. Palate is medium bodied and well carbonated. Thanks for this one Chris, I had wanted to try it for awhile. nickd717 (4888) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUL 24, 2010
Bomber via trade. Excellent appearance: hazy golden with a well-formed white head and good lacing. Great saison aroma - light and floral with good funk and malty sweetness. The flavor is pale malt, very slight cherry, barnyard funk, pepper, and floral hops. Decent mouthfeel, not as lively as I’d like but well-carbonated with medium body. A very good saison, and after drinking this I’ve now ticked all 9 Pretty Things beers. I should get a gold star or some shit for that. jkwalking05 (4745) - Arlington, Texas, USA - MAY 5, 2010
