3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 10, 2012 Pale yellow, hazy pour. Yeasty and fruIty. Apple, pear. LIght hoppy spice. Essentially an American version of a mIld. Bitterness Is ample for the light malt presence. Super drinkable pale ale.
22oz bottle. Why did I have an aged Mild Ale in the cellar ... poured a cloudy golden color with an off white head. Still drinkable ... DavoleBomb (1867) - Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 18, 2015
Poured into a snifter.
3.25 A: Lightly hazed light orange color. One and a half fingers of pillowy white head. Retention is about average and just a wisp or two of lacing are left.
3.25 S: Dank hoppiness which is allowed to shine due to the lack of tons of malt. Floral, herbal, and earthy. Just a hint of spicy yeastiness. Not a lot going on, but it works.
3.5 T: Taste is like the nose, but better. Floral, herbal, earthy hops. Mild bitterness. Touch of spice. It’s just a sessionable way to drink hops.
3.5 M: Lighter body. Maybe a hint too much carbonation, but good enough. Not really creamy, but smooth.
3.25 D: It’s decent for what it is, though I definitely prefer more flavorful brews.

Tasted on 2/8/14 from a bottle at the late night tasting after the RBWG Grand Tasting. Pours hazy, pale yellow with an average white head that recedes to average lace. The nose is restrained pale malt with a touch of citrus hops. The flavor is the same, very light with decent hops bitterness. The body is light with average carbonation and a short bitter hops finish. Steve_0 (3745) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 28, 2014
Bottle at Ryan and Jodi’s with friends. Pour is clear golden with a big frothy head and great lacing. Biscuity, grassy, lemony, zesty, crackers, and lightly fruity aroma. Taste is biscuit, lemon peels, grass, dough, hay, straw, and light weed with light bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Not bad. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - MAR 15, 2014
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark golden color with a smallish white head on it. Nose is only somewhat hoppy, but with some nice floral notes to it. Taste is dry and slightly bitter, yet feels light, crisp, and fresh. Really pleasant light drink. SpringsLicker (3644) - Tennessee, USA - MAR 1, 2014

Taster at RBWG 2014 grand tasting - thanks to the person who shared this! Mostly hazy golden orange color. Thin off-white head. Dots, ropes of lace. Good looking stuff. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Nice biscuity, caramel malty aroma. Some orange citrus zest. Moderate sweet, light bitter. Pretty respectable, smooth, sessionable, satisfyingly hoppy pale ale, with an interesting yeast character to it. Enjoyable stuff to try. Edit: whoa, 3%? Wow, here I was rating this thinking it was a 5% pale ale. Great hoppy session ale! Even more impressive now!
