Opaque black - brown beer. Good fluffy pale tan head. Palate is crispy but dry. Dark malt with coffee bitterness and a little roast. Minerals. Trace of estery banana. Mild hop bitterness with a little orange in there. Dry and bitter finish. Fair bit of coffee in the aftertaste. Tastes olde worlde in as much as itís rough round the edges - but thatís the point I guess. Interesting blast from the past!
