Hazy orange amber beer. Good white head. Nose of sweet toffee, pear and a trace of banana. Semi soft and semi dry palate. Sweet toffee malt, a touch of cream. Subtle orange and a blooming peppery spice. Trace of banana cream. Wow! If Brick Lane residents had it this good in 1832 then it must have wiled away many a cold night!
Bottle pour at the Pony Bar. Awesome beer. Beautifully hopped with equal sweet maltiness to match. Pours an amber-yellow with a subtle cream head. Earthy hop aroma. Flavor is sweet and diverse, with mild fruit notes and light bitterness. Nicely carbonated, crisp but smooth, this beer was a pleasure.

Bottle shared with jcwattsrugger. Pours semi-hazy reddish peach with off white head. Nose and taste of honey, caramel malt, pineapple and dried fruits. Almost an "imperial" mild given the ABV. Quite a good beer. Reminded me of a "light" barleywine. Lubiere (14151) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 17, 2012
