Very hazy orange beer, little white head. Palate is soft and a little dry. Dry creamy malt. Mile minerals. Good balance of pithy orange hop bitterness. Even more creamy malt and a trace of banana ester. Fairly astringent finish. Interesting!
Bottle 65 cl. Pours a cloudy yellow with a lacing white head. Sweet fruity nose and what appears like British hops. Medium body, fruity and yeasty with a rather bitter finish. A pale, strong Mild - very unusual and interesting. 100912 Leighton (22304) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 15, 2012
Bottle shared with cousins on Martha’s Vineyard, MA. Pours clear, vibrant gold with a small, white foam head. Lots of sugary, white bread malts in the nose. Medium to big sweet flavor with toasty white bread, some husky malts, dry hay. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish with more grain husks, a bit of white bread, some alcohol, lasting bitter straw and hay. It’s decent stuff. Rasmus40 (21986) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - SEP 14, 2012
