330ml bottle. Light golden pour with small white head. Simple sweet pale malts on the nose with a trace of citrus hops. Palate is maltier than most light beers with a medium-light body and thinnish texture. Flavour is sweet with a low hop presence and a pleasantly smooth mouthfeel. Acceptable for the ABV. Bottle from Plonk (December 2013). Pale amber/gold, medium white head, biscuity malt, honey, mild citrus hops, light body, thin texture, short sweet finish. A nice enough light, beats any commercial ones hands down. KeefOz (2054) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - MAY 25, 2012
Tasted at microbrewery. Pours a golden amber colour with athick head that dissapates quickly. Moderate to high carbonation. Aroma of sweet malts plus hops. A medium bodies beer that tastes pretty well as it smells. Flavoursome finish - good for a light beer. Davros (3389) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAY 15, 2011
Pours orange/amber with a large, fading head.
Nose shows sweet malty notes of honey and nuts alongside a little fruity, floral hops. There is a faint vegetable character, but it’s not too strong.
More malt as a flavour, with quite prominent nutty hints. Falls short quickly though with an insipid finish made up of a plain bitterness and faint lemon tang.
Very light body, carbonation is too high.
I must say, this surpassed my expectations. Jade (434) - AUSTRALIA - OCT 16, 2010
Light golden colour, quite hazy with a thin white head. Aroma is funky. Empty hops flavour with a funky after taste - not great.

330ml bottle. Very cloudy and hazy when poured, although it looks pretty good for a low alcohol beer. Amber in colour with a ring of thin white bubbles around the edge of the glass. Aroma of barley and passionfruit. Quite a good flavour compared to most other low alcohol beers and it feels as though you are drinking something a bit stronger. Not thin and watery like others. Lively and refreshing. bluevegie (3072) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - NOV 19, 2009
Tried a stubby at Mrs Parmas. Pale golden body, short head, tastes a bit like cardboard, also malty. Not bad for a light beer cos I don’t expect a lot. gam (4227) - brisbane, AUSTRALIA - NOV 15, 2009
Head is good some nice bubbles up the side of glass gold pour aroma hop and malt fruit hint of bread, flavour nice malt bread like taste fruit hops bitter is medium strength ,finish good hop and malt tastes not bad for a light. Stew41 (2155) - Phuket, THAILAND - JUN 20, 2008
Not to bad at all. I reckon the commercial description is quite accurate; there’s plenty of body here, driven through a surprisingly thick, glycerin-like palate weight. It does more than enough to make up for the lack of ABV presence. Some mild citrus and spice on the nose, and to a lesser extent in the palate. Dry finish. Well worth a look for the drivers.
