COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A medium to full bodied Irish Style Ale beer with a light reddish hue. A malt accented beer which starts with initial malt sweetness and finishes with a dryness from the addition of small quantities of roasted barley. Kent Golding hops provide the low hop bitterness and aroma which in keeping with this style. An easy drinking smooth beer.

330ml bottle into glass. Pours a deep red/copper. White head which disappears. No carbonation. Malt aroma, caramel malt taste. Finish is more malt with a little smoky fruitiness. Easy drinking ale.

Bottle. Nutty caramel aroma chestnut , low head Medium light body, mellow mouthfeel , light sticky. Sweet caramel dominates, light roast , candied apples. Hop hard to detect, not to my taste.

Possibly my sample was on the turn, some of those funky esters and a bit of pizzy fiss. but there was a decent bitter finish. I would hope that I just got one past the best before otherwise pretty ordinary.

On tap at the pot belly, Canberra. Full malt and mild pleasant hops. Not exciting but a nice enough session beer.

Bottle from cellarbrations super store in hami hill. Pours a hazy copper with the tiniest of heads. Carbonation and body are both low.. Aroma is very malt forward. Dark fruits dominate with a nutty undertone with also the slightest hint of cherry. On the tongue the dark fruits are very dominant and that undertone of cherry in the aroma also comes to life. Also in the taste the roasted nuts appear right in the finish coupled with a bit of brown sugar. Quite nice, not what I was expecting.

Burnt toffee and an interesting fruity hop are the impressions I get. Nice and crisp.

Underrated, strong grain barley aroma, great head, light and not much punch, you’ll enjoy if you’re after a grainy session beer.

Tap at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, sweet malt, ripe fruit. The flavour is moderate bitter with a soft fruity light resin hop palate. Moderate to light bodied with soft carbonation. I’m no fan of red ales, but this is one of the better ones I’ve had.

Bottle. Murky ruby with a quickly dissipating off white head. Unattractive aromas of raspberry and sugar with an almost hidden nut and caramel element. Some roastiness up front and a little hop spiciness towards the end, but overall an overly sweet beer with a very thin mouthfeel. Didn't enjoy this one.

On tap at the middle park hotel. A good malty red ale with toasty, nutty, toffee flavours and just a touch of hop bitterness. Nice body and carbonation and a good dry finish. Very drinkable.
