Bottle. Amber, low white head, fine carbonation. Straw malt, light ferrous notes, peat and peach, light citrus. Light yet chewy body Pleasant

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear straw colour with a thin white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is plasticine light medicinal hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a dry mineral woody hop bitter palate. Light bodied with lively carbonation.

Light hop aroma. Cloudy light golden colour with poor head. Nice crisp light hop flavour. Light body with low to medium carbonation. Easy drinking.

Bottle. Don't understand the harsh reviews of this one. Granted it didn't look or smell outstanding, but the fruit flavours were solid and the palate was pleasant. Dry finish, light body. Went well with dinner. On a par with Mountain Goat's Summer Ale.

A very interesting beer, smooth, dry and an intriguing flavour that I just can’t put my finger on. I definitely will be drinking this again.

(Bottle) Hazy pale yellow, slight white head. Little aroma, maybe candy. Medium body, reasonable carbonation. Light citrus and candy flavour. Overall thin and unexciting.

Pours a slightly hazy pale color with a decent head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of fruit, some herbs and grain. Taste is mild fruit with sweetness and some herbs. Mild bitterness and a dry finish. Light body, a bit crisp and smooth but pretty bland. Easy drinker, best on a hot summer day, but is quite boring.

I don’t often bother commenting on the appearance of my beers, but the pale yellow look was so insipid that it was a turnoff for me. Luckily, the aroma was more meaty, with lots of honey, peaches and marshmallow. But then, back to the negatives: the taste is a real hodge podge with a bitter citrus taste being the predominant feature of a dry, bubbly palate. I’m not sure that this beer knows what it’s trying to be.

Insipid nose with a vague floral note. Pours cloudy wee-gold with no head. Flavour is ok, but very thin and not much to distinguish it at all. All told pretty disappointing.

Woefully underdone golden ale/kolsch. Where are the hops? Malt? Needs more of everything. Pale lemon in colour with a failing head. Subtle aroma of pears, faint passionfruit and yeast. Thin and undercarbonated - need to sort out the bottle-conditioning. Tastes like diluted malted cordial. Watery tropical fruits but not nearly enough body and barely a hint of bitterness. Refreshing in the way that I suppose a fruit juice might be if you watered it down. There’s a skeleton here but no meat. (330ml bottle)
