treble-heavy tmave, not nearly enough mid and no bass at all. smells of instant coffee granules. flavours are of international roast, salt, hop extract and a hint of chocolate. weak, metallic and chemically, like all the primators. madsberg (11776) - Søborg, DENMARK - AUG 28, 2004
Bottled: Burgundy coloured. Light beige head. Medium sized and lasting. Malts and light chocolate notes in the aroma. Some roast notes. Coffee, roastyness, sweetness and some fruits in the flavour. Not very balanced and quite onedimensional. Is quite sweet in the end. Emil (6064) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 4, 2004
Deep brown color, light sweet caramel aroma, light roasted taste, medium body, medium dry finish. rsmeds (228) - Turku, FINLAND - MAR 23, 2006
Bottle jacobwennbom (356) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - SEP 29, 2006
Pours a clear, very dark brown, with a fairly large, bubbly beige head.
Bitterish, almost sourish roasted malt aroma. A bit strange in a way I can’t quite put my finger on.
Pretty standard czech dunkel flavor. Malty, with a moderately bitter finish.
Light carbonation, light to medium body. Kinda of creamy. A decent dunkel, but not particularly exciting.
UPDATED: NOV 18, 2006 Not overwhelmed. Very sweet in taste, even too sweet if you ask me. Also has strong notes of coffee. Aroma is burnt sugar. Pretty dark brown if we’re speaking looks, foam is brown and short lasting. Like it but don’t love it. (Having a second glas I think like a bit more... Maybe I have to re-rate som day.)
yngwie (17261) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 1, 2006
Bottled. Dark, reddish brown with a tan head. Malt, pear and sweet malt in the aroma. The flavor is sweet and malty, with bread and fruit. Thin and watery body, with apples, malt and some hops in the finish. Too thin and boring, yet pleasant. (061013) TBone (18313) - Pori, FINLAND - MAR 29, 2006
Labelled as Primátor Pivo tmavý lezák, Velikonocni lezak, bottled (BB 02/2007) omhper (25800) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 9, 2007
This looks like an Easter special, different label than in RB - with Easter eggs. Dark ruby color, mostly vanishing tan head. Roasted, caramelly malty and diacetylic (more or less "good way") aroma. Starts caramelly and sweet but then more dry with roasted malty notes. In the finish bitterness, in the aftertaste even some hops. Unbalanced, sweetish, but still drinkable.
Bottled. Clear mahogany colour. Aroma of molasses. Medium sweet. Grassy hops mixes with syrup. Light-medium body. Caramel is evident, but so is metal. Short, sharp bitterish finish. Only half-way there. faroeviking (11252) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - MAY 9, 2007
