bottle.aroma: not so strong aroma of cookies, caramel, fruitty esters. after warming up its much better but butter appears. light body, sweet, bready, light to medium bitterness. too fizy carbonation, could be more hoppy.

Tuesday, January 9, 2018. On tap, 15cL. 5%. @La Cervoiserie, Poitiers, FR. A sparkling orange-yellow clear beer with a medium white foamy head ; good retention and lacing. Herb, cereal note, caramel, roast, light fruits (lemon, dried fruits). Light to medium dry bitter refreshing, sweet note. Light to medium body, thin texture, good gaseous, dry bitter finish. Overall, enjoyable.

500ml bottle from Kaufland, drunk at home. Pours clear with a short-lived frothy head, heavy lacing, no bead. Copper in colour. Strong floral aroma with notes of resin, cracked cereal and grass. Creamy in the mouth releasing floral, biscuit, citrus and cereal flavours, but soon giving way to strong hoppy citrusy bitterness bordering astringency, which continues into a slightly unpleasant aftertaste. Medium carbonation, with a touch of sweetness that is soon obliterated by the strong bitter finish. Overall, very much what it says on the label and although it is pretty decent, I find the bitterness overpowering.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2017 Bottle in Budapest. Pours handsome darker bronze with nice head. Aroma is floral and hoppy. Taste is bitter and dry, really satisfying paired with hot wings. Not hugely flavorful, but for the style it seems pretty spot on.

Decent. Normal for an english ale. Nothing special in this style actually. Drinking this ale takes your time, while you can just drink something special. No aroma, little bit hoppy and malty, watery...

UPDATED: OCT 5, 2017 Interesting beer. Light bodied with thin bitter finish. Fruity taste and hoppy aroma. Light amber colour.
