harrisoni (19024) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAR 29, 2006
Bottle at Sunday Times Wine Festival, London. On the bumpf this was down as a "semi-dark beer". Not sure what that means. Looked and tasted like a Vienna to me. However, I liked it. Dark caramel/red colour with beige head. Toffee/caramel aroma. Fine in mouth, more caramel, finish is a bit sweet. Not too much hop. Good caramel/malt beer.

saxo (18961) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - APR 3, 2008
Bottle. Small head with medium duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, malt and hops.

Amber/deep golden, great white head. Hoppy aroma with vegetable notes. Hoppy fruity flavor and with a nice bitter finish.

Oakes (18209) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 2, 2007
Bottle, Brewery Creek
Bright brick red, great loose head. Rich nose of caramel, toast and a complex dusty, fruity yeast note. Crisp and clean on the palate with earth, toast, caramel...the complex simplicity of the finest East Van pho’. This lager’s brilliance really creeps up as I work through the glass.

chrisv10 (17942) - DENMARK - JAN 30, 2013
Bottle. Clear deep amber/red with small tan head. Aroma is malt, fruit and caramel. Flavour is malt, caramel, medium sweet, little bread, hop and medium bitter.

FatPhil (16692) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 7, 2008
Keg (Kitty’s, Helsinki) Dark orange, thin head. Slightly sweet malty aroma - but you have to search for it. Sweet mellow malt, akin to red ales. Nutty in places. Fun interesting lager, much more character than light ones, but still just a lager.

Dedollewaitor (16239) - Odense, DENMARK - DEC 4, 2009
Bottle @ Billa, Prague. Pours clear amber with a small lasting creamy white head. Nose is sweet of butter, toffee and buiscuit. Taste is sweet malty buiscuit with a fair amount of hops in the end. Ends dry. Medium and smooth body. Classic for its style I think!

MiP (15943) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAR 10, 2010
Bottle, 5.5%. Quite malty aroma, a little syrupy. Clear grey amber colour. Big stable off-white head. The flavour is quite malty with a very faint aniseed note, hint of liquorice. The flavour lets on that there is more than 5.5% ABV. Low bitterness, but enough to balance the malt. Good body. Slightly low carbonation, very pleasant.

DSG (15035) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAY 5, 2012
Draught at Norma Jean in Tel Aviv. As "Primator Semi-dark". Clear reddish amber color. Aroma of loits of butter, some malt and toasted notes. Sweetish flavor with malt, butter, caramel and a slightly bitter finish. Light to medium-bodied. Not so good.

Borup (14983) - Albertslund, DENMARK - DEC 2, 2013
Sample at DØE 2013. Clear orage colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of hops, malt, caramel and bready notes.
