0,5L bottle. Pours clear amber with big white head. The head stays. Aroma: metallic, malty, slight sourness. Taste follows the nose, but also adds strong caramel, sweetness and noticeable bitterness. Alcohol is also slightly noticeable. The finish is surprisingly long bitter. Overall: surprisingly good, was expecting less. alex_leit (5246) - Minsk, BELARUS - NOV 16, 2015

Bottle from a bottle shop. Golden color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, malts, earthy notes, toast, a bit of hops and grass. Bitter finish with citrus, malts, toast, earthy notes and grass. Good brew. tiggmtl (4543) - East York, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 1, 2007
Toasty and bready malts are strong in the nose with some dark fruity esters. Light haze to the deep amber copper coloured body topped by a creamy, fine bubbled, sticky off white head that lasts well. Assertive bitterness matches well to the intense bready malt sweetness. Medium body with strong, fine bubbled effervescence that really opens up the palate. Tulip glass. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle (BB 09/05/08, Brewery Creek, Sep-07). Grzesiek79 (4480) - Radom, POLAND - MAR 12, 2012

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2010 500ml bottle. Amber, light beige head. Aroma of rich caramel, a bit of toast, touches of earth and grass. Taste has caramel, but it’s not all that sweet. Hazelnuts and some dry sherry. A little sourness. Quite pronounced bitterness at the finish features some metal. Not really my sort of thing but rather good. [3.1]
Trying again, this time on purpose. I bought the one above expecting a pilsener (ignorant as I am). Then I bought another by accident, enjoyed it rather more and was surprised to later look at my rating (the description’s OK, the score’s not). This is lovely: a balanced, tasty and gluggable drop.
