Pours clear coppery amber, topped with a decent offwhite head. Nice caramel malty nose with quite some biscuits. Mildly sweet, biscuity with medium bitterness and finishing metallic. Light and quite ruined by the metallic finish.

Lore (2863) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 28, 2014
Clear dark amber colour, 1.5 inches of yellowish off-white head; aroma of toffee, roasted nuts, toast, some dried fruity notes and herbal hops; taste is less complex: roasted nuts and malts as well as some herbal notes; correct polotmavy

vinivini (2818) - Gomel, BELARUS - DEC 27, 2015
Amber colour, perfect dense creamy head. Stays. Aroma of toast, candy, minimal roastiness, a hayish lager note. Light to medium body. Thin to oily texture. The flavour is richly malty. Toast, bread, candy, some wine. Light bitterness growing through the ending to the hoppy aftertaste. Quite good.

mateuszk (2757) - Poznań, POLAND - OCT 28, 2016

04.04.2012. 0,5l Bottle. Thanks to Gunnar!! Amber brown colour with white head. Malty aroma with notes of mal tsweetness. A little watery mouthfeel gives a rather flat aftertaste. Moderate body, smooth and very soft bitter aftertaste.

BOTTLE. Head: beige, medium, frothy to creamy, avg. retention. Colour: copper, clear. Aroma: caramel. Taste: caramel, medium bitterness. Nothing extraordinary, just a good amber.

0,5 l bottle as a gift.
Clear amber-reddish colored beer with a small but stable, creamy off white-tan head. Sweet malt and toasted caramel in the aroma with a moderated herbal hop perfume. Medium bodied beer with caramel and malt, toasted tastes, sourish yeasts and a dry, herbal hop in the finish. Not a bad but not a very exciting one...

StefanSD (2451) - Ouray, Colorado, USA - NOV 28, 2013
500 ml bottle courtesy of Cuso. Thanks. Pours a translucent amber color with medium off-white head that soon dissipates away with an audible hiss. The aroma is sweet malts, caramel, hay and earthy hops. The taste is caramel malts forward with a nice spicy/earthy hop presence that balances the malts quite nicely. The palate is silky smooth with lively carbonation. Finishes medium in duration and dry. Overall: A decent beer and by far the hopiest polotmavy Iv’e tried so far.
