ClubGonzo (5685) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUL 4, 2011
Bottle. Dark brown body with a ruby-red hue, small white head. Nose is sweet malts, "Hapå" nougat bread spread (Norwegians might get this reference, others might just NOT... :-)) and hints of milk chocolate. Taste is dark malts, malt extract, more dark malts and hints of nuts and nougat. Some vague hints of toffee and roasty malts come through as the beer warms up a bit. A whole lotta maltin’ goin’ on here; this is a bit one-tracked in composition but otherwise a pretty OK dunkel.
