A red or dark amber beer with a fine light brown head, though fast disappearing. The aroma is slightly bitter. And the flavor is bitter and roasted with an OK sweetness. The bitterness together with the roast lingers. It is nothing special but an OK beer. haf (531) - Gijon, SPAIN - APR 26, 2004
UPDATED: MAR 7, 2005 No esta mal, aunque un poco decepcionante. Buena cerveza negra sin ser excepcional. Cierto sabor a caramelo. skortila (5873) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - AUG 16, 2004
Aroma is malty (roasted, coffee). Clear, black coloured with a brown thin head. Quite one-dimensional brew, okay though. Malty (roasted, coffee) aroma with some fruit (grapes). Little sticky, but dry brew. hammenlind (737) - Sundbyberg, SWEDEN - OCT 9, 2005
Dark brown, thick beige creamy head. Malty, slight roasted nose with some hints of chocolate. Metallic, sweet flavour with some notes of fudge & cocoa. Smooth mouthfeel. Somewhat acidic finish. pilsnerrogge (2948) - Finspång, SWEDEN - NOV 3, 2005
Dark red-ish brown. Thick head. Dark chocolate and raisin aroma. Sweet and roasted malt flavour with notes of coffee. A bit thin though.

Dark red and brown color, medium beige head. Medium chocolate, sweetness, mild licorice in aroma. Medium bodied. Roasted, medium coffee, mild chocolate in flavor, chocolate lasts with mildly dry aftertaste. Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - JAN 1, 2008
Black/brown with a moderate head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and a bit of caramel. The flavour is slightly sweet and malty with notes of licorice and caramel, and the bitterness is nice. It briefly reminds me of a stout, at least while it’s cold, but as it grows warmer it "just" a nice dunkel. FrankJohansen (3622) - Sabro, DENMARK - MAR 9, 2008
Bottle. Clear brownish colour with a huge mostly lasting beige head. Very sweet malty nose, with taste of malt and molasses. patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - JUN 16, 2008
bottle sold as Primator Premium Dark - Pours dark amber with a thin tan head. It has a mild roasted malt aroma. The flavor is also mainly the sweet roast malt. There’s just a little hops character noticeable. While not very interesting, it’s a decent quaff overall. KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 22, 2008
Rather sweet, lots of maltiness, dark syrup. With some more hops this would have been a better and more balanced beer.
