0.5 l bottle. Pours deep, dark brown colour with thick, long lastin beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. Watery coffee and roasted malty notes combined in a bit too thin body. Softly carbonated and easily drinkable. Mediocre.

Ciemne z ładną pianą. W zapachu i smaku niestety wyczuwalne żelazo... finisz lekko goryczkowy.

0,5l bottle. Clear dark brown colour with quickly disappearing beige head. Aroma: Caramel, chocolate, coffee. When gets warmer some winey notes. Taste: Sweet and sour well balanced taste, the malts rule but has a light bitter mouthfeel too. Light/medium body with fizzy carbontion. Long bitter/sour pleasent finish. Good drink.

This stuff is okay. It arrived on my shelf in not exactly brand fresh condition but it’s still drinkable. A bit sweet for my tastes for the style but it has a solid malt character, kinda raisiny w/ a bit of toffee. It’s smooth on the palate w/ relatively low carbonation, which seems to lend a certain richness. At the end of the day, I really wish European brewers would keep a better eye on their American distributors. This may well be a great beer but my experience with it was solidly mediocre.

Bottle. Deep brown with lasting head. Aroma and taste is sweet malt, caramell and some grass (mostly in the aroma, but also present in the taste). Quick ending and not so interesting after a few sippers.
