Bottle 33cl. @ home.
[ Trade by Maria ]. Clear medium to dark yellow color with a average to large, frothy, excellent - good lacing, fully - mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, straw, moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, fresh and sharp. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081123]

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a white head. Dry malty and mild hoppy spiced aroma. Sweet malty flavoured, yet also a bit acidic and cardboardish with a harsh bitterness. Ends dry and bitter.

Ungstrup (38249) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 13, 2003
A golden beer with a good head. The aroma is slight with hoppy notes. The flavor is very hoppy and light with a good sweetness - just as you would like a czech pilsener.

joergen (28991) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 24, 2008
Bottle. Clear golden coloured with a medium sized white head. Aroma of malts and hay with notes of butter. Malty flavour of hay and hops with notes of butter. Dry hoppy finish. Though the buttery aroma and taste are intended in many czech beers, I don’t like it.

anders37 (26878) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JAN 22, 2008
Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a longlasting white head. Fruity malty bready aroma with some hints of hops. Sweet malty bready hoppy flavor. Has a long sweet malty finish.

Bottled. Yellowish golden with huge bubbly head. Aroma is sweet, fruity and malty. The aroma was very promising but the taste was a disappointment, hoppy and bitter with sweetish finish. Weird bittersweet combination in aftertaste. Overcarbonated in my opinion.

cgarvieuk (25744) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 9, 2007
A golden orange colour, with a pleasent banana fruity nose, but a fairly standard lager and too bitter

3.2
omhper (25570) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - APR 3, 2007
Draught at Soldaten Svejk, Stockholm. Clear golden, firm creamy head. Grassy hop aroma. Dryish. Orangey hay-like saaz hops dominate sweet malt. Clean rounded mouthfeel. Later on buttery malt starts to take over. Finishes with medium bitterness.

Papsoe (25059) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 19, 2005
(Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden with a creamy head. The usul full, malty body with the resulting sweetness well-balanced with solid hops. Another classically neat Czech lager. 220404

Tap @ Voldby ølmesse. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, light grainy and moderate hoppy - grass. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 250812
