Great malty beer. Aromas of orange, caramel, cherries, with hints of butter. Taste is sweet, with light bitter and sour notes, and long length. Palate is syrupy, and full bodied. Amber, with a frothy head.

Bottle from Különleges Sörök Boltja, Bp. Clear amber pour with lively carbonation and a medium white head on its top which laces. Sweetish, fruity nose and aroma escorted by burnt sugar, alcohol and some grassy hops, mouthfeel’s syrupy. The warming finish is also rather sweet with alcohol, citrusses and spices. Overall rather a one-dimensional brew, but in spite of that really enjoyable and full bodied with a nicely hidden alcohol content.

(Bottle, Pivovarsky Klub, Prague, 27 July 2011) Amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, orange peel and spicy hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange peel, tropical fruit, caramel and a slightly spicy bitterness in a warming finish with a certain sweetness and some warming alcohol. More than medium body, fairly sweet. Actually quite well balanced for its strength. Nice.

Kein Meisterwerk! Test vom 4.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,5,4,3,10,3 - 4,40

Schroppfy (2362) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - APR 28, 2011
Wow, this is some sickly sweet stuff. The aroma is OK, some fusels, some fields/hay. The head dies in an unhealthy display borne of too much alcohol. The flavor packs high alcohol heat and an over-the-top sweetness that is just gross. Rubber cement flavors. Slight bitterness, large sweetness. Could not finish.
