Old review written before making ratebeer account. Average, decent stout. I’d grab it from time to time if it was easily available here. daniele (9063) - ITALY - NOV 6, 2016

Tasting in Rome-Italy with daniele and Mortlach, bottle. Black pour with tick and frothy ivory head. Some caramel highlights. Nose: dry fruit, a strage note of BBQ. Mouth: still dry fruit, some caramel, rich in some way but do not expect coffee or chocolate. johndoughty (5438) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 24, 2016
Bottle. Black with a small head.Medium body and slightly malty.Quite dry but nnot many distinctive flavours. Worth trying but not one that will stick in my memory.

Tap. Pours dark brown with lazing tan head. Aroma has dark malts, burned caramel and roasted malt and hints of diacetyl. Taste is dry, malty with dark malts, roasted malt and burned caramel and a dry, roasted finish. Quite lightbodied. IOzh (159) - Kyiv, UKRAINE - SEP 22, 2016
500ml bottle. Pours dark brown with medium off white head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate. Light, watery body with soft carbonation. Taste is dry and watery. ERB92 (739) - Bergen, NORWAY - SEP 16, 2016
Aroma of coffee, chocolate and hints of caramel, licorice and nuts. Almost black with a tan head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium body with a average to soft carbonation. Overall a very nice Dry Stout, a bit on the thin side, but not too bad for the abv. djoeye (4605) - Tromsø, NORWAY - SEP 3, 2016
Aroma; sweet mild roasted malts, faint floral soapy notes.
Look; beige big pillow, black body. Taste; roasted malts, yeast, cheese, grass - leading to a dark malty finish. Feel; easy, semi dry. Overall; I’m not really sure whether this batch really hit the stout arena. [50cl.btl 4.7% BB17.08.16]
