I’m trying to learn, though i don’t feel confident describing it taste i do like this beer. GreatLibations (1854) - Last Supper, Arizona, USA - OCT 12, 2009
Been brewed since 1872 and only three scores. Wheres it been hiding all my life-a. Pours dark with a thick frothy head that lingers a bit. Smells of semi sweet brown cake bread. Medium nectar with ample effers and a chewy texture. Mildly sweet with defined cocoa and mildly roasted coffee bean. The finish is bittered rather well finishing dry and tasty. Nice! Aroma is caramel malts and very nutty. The flavor is caramel sweetness, nuttiness, a low undercurrent of hops and a clean and malty finish. Fatehunter (2650) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - JAN 24, 2013
Almost a finger of tan head on a dark brown body.
The aroma is roasted and chocolate malt. Nice.
The roasted malt comes through in the taste as well, along with a little milk and mild lemon bitterness.
The texture is a little fizzy and crisp.
An enjoyable experience with the flavorful taste but still lighter lager.

Dark brown with reddish highlights and a beautiful light brown head. Aroma is sweet malt and brown bread. Toffee and caramel malts dominate the flavor. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation and a smooth, dry, malty finish. Very pleasant.
