From a bottle poured golden color with a small amount of head. Sweet spicy flavor with a quick finish. IrishBoy (4237) - Bakersfield, California, USA - JUN 30, 2009
12 oz bottle from GM Liquors; Nose of grassy hops and lagery grains. Clear dark gold with a big white head. Flavor is grainy light sweetness with just a hint of background bittering hops. SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUN 29, 2009
On tap at The Yard House in SD. Pours pale golden with a poofy white head. This is a fairly non-descript ber that I thought was long dead until I saw it at Yard House. I’m surprised that it is even still being kegged. Not the worst, but I’d hate to be trapped on an island with only this. If it is supposed to be something better or special b/c it is brewed in HI, I don’t see it being any different from the Miller swill put into bottles. Immy (1958) - Virginia Beach, USA - JUN 21, 2009
Bomber. Clear gold with a huge white head that reduces quickly. Rather sweet nose, malty and somewhat corny, light grain. Flavor is grainy with a somewhat chemically grass. Finishes surprisingly dry. Meh. Borders on crappy, but I have nothing else to drink right now, so I guess I’ll find the bottom of the bottle... Wulfstan (509) - California, USA - JUN 18, 2009
This is a fairly good, basic pale lager and better than most macro lagers of the type.

It’s gold with a medium white head steadily dissipating to a thin ring.
The aroma is a pleasant, full-bodied US adjunct/pale lager character, mostly a full, strong grain with hints of apple and grass, rather like Pabst. It has nothing off or unpleasant aside from a very faint hint of perfumy soap.
The taste is light and very simple, but pleasant, firm, and consistent, again a bit like PBR. it has a lot of grain with faint grass and apple peel, with a grain aftertaste with faint grassy bitterness. Unlike PBR, the overall character thins out more and becomes a bit more bland and watery after the first few sips, with the grain taste becoming weaker. It’s drinkable and pleasant for what it is.
Pours a typical pale lager yellow with a large fluffy head. This, as one would expect, is repackaged MGD. Weak flavor, metallic aroma. Mouthfeel is dead and watery. Nothing good or special about this whatsoever, except maybe for the nice packaging scheme. Overall, poor. sebletitje (10421) - Enghien, BELGIUM - MAY 15, 2009
First beer in Vegas. SamGamgee (2585) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - MAY 8, 2009
Waiter seemed overly thrilled about an amazing Hawaiian beer.
golden pour with white head.
Taste/aroma, light hops, thin notes of malt, crisp and some grainy mouthfeel.
Nothing amazing here.
12oz bottle. Clear straw with a weak white head. Light mineral and grainy aroma. Very light sweet flavor with a hint of corn. Pretty much no hops, so it finishes a little sweet despite the lightness. Thin and very carbonated. Nothing nasty, but pretty flavorless. SDalkoholic (2434) - Linda Vista, California, USA - MAY 3, 2009
Bottle from an unknown shop in National City. Good thing I didn’t buy this because I would have been even more unhappier. At first smell, I cringed and knew I was in store for a real crappy beer. Crisp clear and golden with a tiny fizzy head is a basic visual description. The flavor is beyond bland with plenty of macro adjuncts such as corn/rice substituted malts. Tasting very similar to a low or non alcoholic beverage but honestly does have a clean finish which makes this more drinkable then others. 12oz bottle from bevmo mission valley. Pours a medium golden color with a fluffy white head. Nose and flavor had a little extra sugary sweetness from the can sugar, decent lager.
