[Bottle] Pours a very light yellow color with a fizzy white head. Sweet nose of sugar cane and corn syrup. Smells a little oxidized too. The taste is grainy, with hints of metal and lingering sweetness. Champagne-like carbonation. Yikes! I only bought a bomber of this, but I really had to choke it down. jcr (2705) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - MAR 15, 2009
Draft. Pours a clear, golden with a spritzy white head. The aroma is sweet with some vegetal notes — molasses and corn — and a hint of grassy hops. The flavor is lightly sweet and very lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Better than many other mass-market pale lagers and refreshing enough. But not a lot of flavor in this one. Fatehunter (2567) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - JAN 23, 2013
Almost a half finger of head on a clear, medium straw colored body.
The aroma is faint overall: a little grain.
The taste is mild bitterness and a little sour with a touch of sweetness at the end. Not much to it though.
The texture is meh with moderate carbonation and light body.
This beer cannot even manage to be "light and refreshing" for the hot island/beach environment. Reid (2541) - Salem, Oregon, USA - FEB 24, 2010
22 oz bomber from Capital Market, Salem.
was kinda tricked really into buying, thought this was brewed on HI. but its brewed in Millers plant in Cali.
Ok pretty average looking lager pale golden nice sized white head. Typical.
Aroma is pretty pleasant for style only a whiff of carboard to go with the buisuity malts.
Taste..pretty average semi-sweet American lager.
Mouthfeel is actually Ok they managed to at least keep the carbonation down this makes the overall expierience with the beer more pleasing.
This is an OK macro lager..not too many off flavours. reinds me of Henry Weinhards Private Reserve..thats a good thing. gripweed57 (2463) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - JUN 13, 2017
From old tasting notes. Brewed by Stroh Brewery. Pale gold color with a small white head. Looks like Ginger Ale. Slight crab apple malt aroma. Tangy malt flavor. Highly carbonated.nsome dryness in finish. Brief bitter aftertaste.

12oz bottle. Clear straw with a weak white head. Light mineral and grainy aroma. Very light sweet flavor with a hint of corn. Pretty much no hops, so it finishes a little sweet despite the lightness. Thin and very carbonated. Nothing nasty, but pretty flavorless. 17thfloor (2443) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 25, 2010
Bottle from Oahu. Pours a clear glowing lighter golden with a fizzy frothy white head. Grassy aroma with a light sweetness. Somewhat clean flavor, light bitterness, light sweetness, touch of faint apple, doughy, softer malty, with lasting bitter aftertaste. SDalkoholic (2393) - Linda Vista, California, USA - MAY 3, 2009
Bottle from an unknown shop in National City. Good thing I didn’t buy this because I would have been even more unhappier. At first smell, I cringed and knew I was in store for a real crappy beer. Crisp clear and golden with a tiny fizzy head is a basic visual description. The flavor is beyond bland with plenty of macro adjuncts such as corn/rice substituted malts. Tasting very similar to a low or non alcoholic beverage but honestly does have a clean finish which makes this more drinkable then others. troopie (2341) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - AUG 16, 2010
Bottle. Poured clear pale yellow with thin fast dissipating head. Sweet aroma with many sugary notes. Sweet candy and malt flavour. Sugary finish, no bitterness. Too sweet to drink again. csaso (2284) - Missouri, USA - FEB 15, 2014
Can - unable to pour from can, but pretty typical pale lager, nothing special
