I actually knda liked this one, for what it was. Copper, thin ring of foam. Mildly sweet, with a dryis note in the finish. A little bit of grainy flavors, too. Pretty refreshing, actually.

Another brew enjoyed while vacationing in Maui, Hawaii. When I saw this on the cooler shelf I knew I had to try it for two basic reasons; (1) it was the last one on the shelf, and (2) I have never tried it before and have never seen it in my area! This brew had a fantastic flavor that was making me take it nice and slow so that I could enjoy it for as long as I could! This brew is made with pure Hawaiian cane sugar and that makes for one fantastic tasting brew! This is truly wonderful as the company for this brew falls under the Pabst/Miller corporate structure and they have graciously kept from meddling around and mucking up the production of this tasty brew!

has the swagger of a leinenkugel’s original with a low price tag too. tastes a little sweeter than most standard lagers and thats ok with me. Pretty big fan of this so far. 12 pack for 10.99 in hawaii

From old tasting notes. Brewed by Stroh Brewery. Pale gold color with a small white head. Looks like Ginger Ale. Slight crab apple malt aroma. Tangy malt flavor. Highly carbonated.nsome dryness in finish. Brief bitter aftertaste.

UPDATED: JUN 12, 2012 Shaker pint draft at the Pineapple Grill at Kapalua golf course on Maui. The pour is clear golden, with not too much of a white head. The aroma is sweet honey malt, a bit of grassiness and not much else. The taste is sweet sugar malt, along with an unclean yeast, grassy dry finish. The palate is light to medium bodied, high level of carbonation and the sweet finish. This was easy enough to drink.

Bottle from Yamaya. Aroma of grass and some lemon. Clear pale straw color, lots of carb rising. Grass, good hopping / mid gets a bit sweet / flattens into a thick, dull sweetness, along with a metallic note. Thin-medium body, some big-time fizz. Full-bodied and fairly flavorful for a light lager. Better than I thought it would be.

Taste from Big Braddah can brought back to mainland by Otto. If rated just as a lager, the score would not be as high. I am rating this more as an experimental beer. For a beer designed to show off "Pure Island Cane," it does so well. It is definitely sweet, but finishes surprisingly clean with all the sugar.
