Finally found it! In Warwick, NY. Drank from a pint glass, poured from a 500mL bottle. Nice frothy head on this one, was hoping for a darker color, definitely an amber color. Smells of nice wheat, not over powering, and rich in malts. The taste is nice, malty, creamy, absolute excellence! A brew fit for a king!

Bottle from Trinkgut in Kleve. The beer is orange/copper colored and has large and stable white head, with nice carbonation. The aroma is fruity and malty, with tones of citrus, bananas but also hints of nuts and freshly baked bread. The taste is fruity and malty, with tones of yeast, banana, caramel and some spices, further a little watery texture but refreshing it is. The finish is long and with a nice balance between sweet and bitter.

Not what I expected - thought I’d picked up a straight dunkel, but obvious is the wheat immediately. Pours a hazy muddy brown with quickly disappearing tan bubbles. Aroma is malt, caramel, and banana - pretty decent. The flavor is more subdued and boring, a little watery. More carbonation than I enjoy.

Hazy brown color with nice fluffy head. Aroma is fresh, slightly tart, caramel, bread, not too many bananas. Taste is fruity, there the bananas come, bread crust, then the dark malts come through, but not too much. Hints of bubble gum. Dry finish. Classic Weizen texture. Not the best Dunkelweizen, but a solid one, and I like Dunkelweizen.
