Stupendously huge, dense yellowish tinted head, not very stable over fully trouble, yellow-greenish beer. Banana-filled nose with a bit of grass or hay. Light spicey touch. Sweet-fruity taste with banana and a whiff of citruspeel. A spicey finish, remindful of nutmeg rather than cloves. Gets more sweet going on, however, becoming more "fade". Wheat/grist slickness, velvety texture. Slightly empty aftertaste. More than decent Weissbier, despite the size of the brewery. Only possible in Germany, I guess. Tasted as König Ludwig Weissbier Hell Thanks, Sebastian GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 18, 2006
Draught at Czehoski. Hazy yellow-gold with a pillowy white head. Aroma and flavour both hold the expected notes of wheat, clove, yeast, and a bit banana. A simple, refreshing example of the style. Prostman (1077) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 17, 2006
I thought this was a very nice wheat beer. Poured a dark cloudy yellow with a small white head. Citrus flavors and spice make up the taste and the finish was refreshing. A good beer. DougShoemaker (3147) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 14, 2006
On tap @ Smokeless Joe.
Wheat and clove aroma, hazy yellow, small white head. Flavour has a good wheat start, banana and soft spicing. Light bodied, easy drinking. Decent. Thanks for the beer(s) Dave Steen. bridge (659) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUL 13, 2006
Fairly average hefeweizen. Dusty banana aroma with a bit of creaminess. Better on tasting, with some nice bitterness, although it leaves an unfortunate rubbery aftertaste. Too much spritz in the mouth though, making it somewhat gassy. Probably the wrong time of year to be trying this - I’ll give it another run during summer if I remember.

This was called Ludwig Weise. Poursed cloudy yellow with a nice white head. Nose of bananas and spices. Clean taste and good finish. Nice. Dedollewaitor (16158) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 3, 2006
Hazy yellow with fine white head. Aroma of wheat & citrus. lively carbonation. little spicyness.. Very fresh. Pleasant finish! KUEric (976) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUN 19, 2006
On Tap as Ludwig Weisse: A very good, yet standard/typical hefe. Aroma of bananas, bubble gum, spices. The flavor is more spices than standard, a very nice flavor to it. jgentgesdo (694) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - JUN 18, 2006
Pours pale yellow with a small white head that laces very little. Nose is faint soapy wheat with some banana peel. Flavor is strong banana with a clove overtone. Flavors only indifferently well balanced. Ends with more musty, rather soapy wheat notes. Not bad. FrankJohansen (3622) - Sabro, DENMARK - JUN 17, 2006
Bottle. Golden muddy colour with a huge creamy white mostly lasting head. Moderate aroma and taste of yeast, fruits and spices. great hefeweizen - and cheap too.
