Bitto Honey IPA was born as a gift to be enjoyed at a going away party for two friends, Don and Maddie Bitto - two new doctors from Philadelphia who were headed to Denver for their first jobs as practicing physicians. Bitto Honey is a twist on the ever popular India Pale Ale and has been brewed with fresh honey and a heavy dose of honey malt to provide great balance to the Amarillo and Cascade hops. We believe that Hops + Honey = Heaven. Don and Maddie agreed and we hope you will too.

Clear amber pour tan head .... sweet malty aroma and mouthfeel .... taste of honey and sweet malts with some citrusy hops .... a lingering hop taste ... the honey malt is a nice addition but the hops aren’t really there ...... hope the doctors are doing better than the beer

Kind of bland for me. Not a lot of aroma. What I got was a bit of citrus and some sweet malt. The flavor had a little too much sweetness for my liking.

NEWTOWN BREWFEST 2010. Nice amber pour with nose of candy, honey and pine. Carmel malts with a splash of floral and honey. Not Bad.

On draft at Capones. Pours a hazy orange amber with a cream colored medium sized head. Nice lacing. Aroma of honey, candied malt, and light citrus. Taste of honey, candied malt, bitter citrus and a touch of clove.

Nitro at lucky lab. Pours hazy reddish with a large off white head. The aroma has a lot of citrus notes, light pine, and maybe some honey in the distance. The taste is medium bitter and very malty. Not too sweet but does have a honey caramel taste and is quite thick in palate.. Good.

Aroma is light, but has a bit of hops and honey. Sweet start building to a bitter finish. Caramel like malt, a touch of darker honey, then a floral hops end. Interesting, but not a standout.

Pours dark amber and has aroma of florals, caramel and honey. Taste is sweet with a honey aftertaste. For some reason this beer left a terrible aftertaste, almost funky but in a bad way.

Arayaga2 (2201) - portland, Oregon, USA - APR 6, 2010
UPDATED: JUN 6, 2013 Chestnut amber with speckled white head. Aroma if grapefruit is weak and carries into a weak watery taste. Englishy yeast character

katrinaez (2086) - norristown, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 8, 2015
UPDATED: APR 5, 2015 Pretty good ipa. The slight honey sweet slowly peeks out. You can smell it as well. Hops are light. Not overly dimensional. Tap

Nephilium (1821) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - JUL 22, 2013
Mild honey aroma, pours a cloudy reddish-brown with a large off-white head. There’s a bit of honey in the flavor, with a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied, not a bad little IPA.
