Bottle, brewed with pineapple and experimental hop HBC-342, mine 5% abv. Nose lightly stale at crown-open, resolves to a tart and eventually sour nose, light wheat character though they claim pils malt. Transparent golden with lots of carbonation and a huuuge soapy beige head -- either infected or it’s a result of the raw pineapple. Taste lightly tart with light-medium bitterness, somewhat astringent, touch resinous, pineapple juice but light, faint citrus, very weak and thin malt. Medium body, a bit thicker with etoh at times, bit of a bready-yeasty finish and especially aftertaste. I’d say it’s a letdown but I wasn’t expecting much given the juvenile marketing or pineapple addition.hippieman556 (12) - Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 25, 2014
Thankfully not infected!
This beer was disappointing. I thought it would have more of a fruity flavor.it poured badly with a foam head. blipp (9268) - La Mesa, California, USA - AUG 24, 2014
Can. Pours golden orange with a white head. Wheaty base, with light fruity notes, some sweetness, and a hint of hops. Not bad. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - AUG 13, 2014
Very nice pils! The other reviewers aren’t comparing apples to apples methinks. This one is quite nice for the style. Strongly flavorful. Getting some wheat/banana notes oddly. Enjoyable. alobar (3784) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 6, 2012
Pours a cloudy straw yellow color with soap white head. Aroma of citrus, grain, and toasted malt. Toasted malt flavor with hop bitterness and touch of pineapple at the end. Kind of disappointing.

On tap at Capone’s. Golden pour with a smaller sized head. Some floral hops with citrus and toastiness. I’m getting some pineapple in the tastes, but not as much as the description would have led me to expect.
