Crowler from the brewery, courtesy of a friend who visited the brewery. Malty aroma with roast, nuts, and chocolate. More of the same in the flavor--nice malty flavor with a little roast bitterness. Dry, somewhat thin finish. Very solid dry stout in the Guinness vein.
A bit dry, leaning towards a dry stout. Standard malty, roasty toasty notes, and a light body and an inoffensive taste. Ron (4326) - Rochester, New York, USA - JUN 20, 2017
Crowler I brought back from Prison City. A nice chocolatly brown pour with a decent tan head. Plenty of chocolate and roasted malt in the aroma and the flavor. Malty body for just a 4.7% stout. Easy drinker. j12601 (13610) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - APR 21, 2017
On tap at the brewery. Pours black with a thin tan head. Soft cocoa and roast on the nose. Medium bodied, smooth cocoa and roast. Easy drinking, lovely dusty cocoa.
