Crowler @ Caps & Taps. Thanks for sending this one, Nate. Cloudy golden beer with a white head. Super buttery. Woah. Big time butterscotch on this one. Kind of citrusy I guess. Herbal and funky as well. Has some orange juice notes as well. Not sure this survived the trip out west very well. pushkinwow (2978) - Ottawa, CANADA - JAN 28, 2016
On tap at the pig. Murky vibrant amber with a nice off white head. Light grass, some cantaloupe, light graininess, minerals, easy to drink with a mild body and moderate carbonation, something that with a little more flavour could be a great thirst quencher. yngwie (17379) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 2, 2015
On tap at Prohibition Pig Brewery, Waterbury. It’s an unclear yellow-orange beer with a finger-thick white head leaving lacing. Mostly hoppy aroma with pine cones, grapefruit and a malty touch. It’s full to medium bodied with a soft carbonation and a decent bitterness. Pine cones and grapefruit dominates the flavor, just like the aroma, both initially and in the lasting finish. A refreshing one, although not super-exciting. 150610 presario (4925) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 4, 2015
Light hop scent. Hazy amber. Nicely hopped. Wouldn’t guess it as a wheat beer. Melon flavour. Tap at Prohibition Pig. ben4321 (6907) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUL 4, 2015

Yellow color, some white hints, white head and heavy lace. Has a fruity hop aroma, some spice. Flavor is sweeter up front with a dry, spice feel to the finish. Medium bodied with a lively carbonation.
On tap at Prohibition Pig.
This was poured in a half sized pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy bright yellow color with a slim foamy concave head that dissipated instantly. There wasn’t any lacing.
The smell had a sweet to lightly spiced grassy fresh slightly piney hops. A decent underscore of citrus helps to size up and yet balance the nose.
The taste was semi-sweet through the combination of citrus to sweet grass. Spice gets underneath and the wheat is extremely subtle. I barely noticed it. There’s no aftertaste nor finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a super sessionable feel about it. The carbonation is there but is fairly tame to allow the spice from the Amarillo hops to become the bitterness and they do a good job.
Overall, super nice APWA, good job Prohibition Pig, I’d have this again. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - JUN 16, 2015
draft at pro pig, this one was very hoppy. Wheat ales really work well in the summer, very refreshing with a lot of citrusy and wheat flavors. Finish is quick. One of my favorite pro pig lbeers of the night. Meilby (11826) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 11, 2015
Draught @ Prohibition Pig Brewery, Waterbury, VTBMMillsy (1788) - Florida, USA - JUN 10, 2015
Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, orange, citrus and wheat. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long orange, wheat and citrus finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
Had high hopes for this, but there were some seriously weird funky wheat flavors on the back end that I couldn’t get over. Smelled nice though. AirForceHops (8186) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 1, 2015
Draft, at the brewery. Hazy gold, thin head. Nose is pretty tame but does display the hop nicely. Grain, fruit and just a touch of pine.
Mouthfeel is dry and body medium with a light chewy yeast. Lots of cereal grain with juicy fruits and light hints of under played pine. The Amarillo is subtle but still very tasty.
