Interesting beer. Aroma wasn’t too bad: raspberry and currant. Taste is where the beer fell short in my opinion. Much too sweet for a Berliner. Aurelius (5335) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - SEP 7, 2013
Almost opaque, color of guava jelly. Fruit, vinegar and beety aroma. A sophisticated, slightly mineral flavor. Lightish body. Dry jammy tones -- like jam shortbread cookies. Light, fine-grained carbonation. On tap, Proof Florida Tap Invitational, with PorterPounder. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUL 31, 2013
A reddish/pink/purple pour. Lots of tart berries, cherries, raspberry, light lactic sourness. Pretty damn good and really drinkable. Flordiaweisse? Yeah, I think so. PorterPounder (7970) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUL 13, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Murky medium orange pour, off-white, silky head. Sour cherries in the aroma, some burnt matches. Flavor has some sour cherry notes, a hint of vinegar, some strong rhubarb notes. Nice, dry mouthfeel. Pretty nice. rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - JUN 23, 2013
Draft at Proof. Purple pour with a dissipating white head. Aroma of lactic sourness, mixed berries, sherbert and dreamsicle ice cream. Lactic acidity in the flavor, creaminess and dark berries throughout the flavor. Light bodied, tart finish.

Growler from Proof. Deep reddish pour. Aroma is light malts and berry. Taste is tart berry, jammy. Wheat grain in there somewhere but the sour pretty much covers it up. Lively carbonation. Long moderately tart finish. Good stuff. jbruner (4740) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - JUN 12, 2013
Pours a murky pinkish red on two with pink white foamy head that spots lightly. Aroma of lactic sourness, wheat, and a nice sour fruit back end. Taste follows, with a sweet tartness all the way through from the fruit. Good stuff.
