On tap at Proof. Pours a dark brown with an off tan heady top. Aroma is chocolaty with malt notes. Taste is a pleasant bitterness with a definite chocolate taste. The hops come through nice. Overall a great debut beer. rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - JUL 25, 2012
Growler from Proof. Deep amber pour with a creamy tan head that leaves traces of lace. Nose is roasted malts, rye spice, hints of chocolate and earthy hop character. Great spicy rye malt flavor with added roasted malts, earthiness and a sticky bitter finish. Medium bodied with nice balance. jbruner (5121) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - AUG 25, 2012
UPDATED: MAR 9, 2013 The second version, with more hops, a better balance, and a bit more alcohol - abv is 7% now. Pours a dark murky brown on tap with nice frothy off-white head and great lacing. Aroma heavy on the chocolate malt, a hint of the rye, a hint of pine and earth. Taste follows suit, but the hops come in big on the finish. Clean and well balanced, with a full, creamy mouthfeel. Good stuff. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - DEC 7, 2012

Growler... Blazer’s low-key O-Town Throwdown 2012… Pours clear, deep and dark with shimmers of burnt-orange and a mid-sized white head. The fragrant highlights here are darker chocolate malts and spicy rye malt. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and gentle carbonation. The flavor is spicy, hoppy and roasty. Finishes chocolaty, modestly bitter and grassy. Leighton (22027) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 23, 2013
