Dark brown pour. Tan head. Little bit of lacing. Huge aroma of roses? Very floral. Taste is watery roses with a bit of roasty malt. Not what I was expecting from something fronting as a porter. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - FEB 4, 2016
On draft at Florida Cracker Kitchen. Pours a porter brown with a tan head. Nose is roast, cocoa, dark chocolate, earth, and hints of spice. Flavor is similar with roast, earth, spice, and cocoa. Medium in body and a nice Porter overall. BelgianBeerGal (4118) - Panama City, Florida, USA - FEB 7, 2015
Crowler from the production brewery. Dark brown color with a tan head and nice lacing. Aroma is roasted malt with a hint of milk chocolate. Nice chocolate in the flavor with a silky mouthfeel. Nice. jjfaughn (3) - Tallahassee, USA - DEC 13, 2014 does not count
Solid porter. On the nose I get super roasty with subtle chocolate and coffee. Taste is similar to nose with massive roast, chocolate, coffee, char and alittle smokiness. Good all around beer, no alcohol taste great for those cold nights. rdixon77 (2921) - Georgia, USA - NOV 22, 2014
Nice full bodied porter. Black pour. Lots of charred, ashy aromas. The taste was more subdued with chocolate and coffee. Still very roasty. Nice.

Clear dark brown color with tan head. Nice chocolatey, roasty, coffee aromas. Medium bodied. Sugared up black coffee, chocolate, roasty flavors with a light ashy finish----good
Of the Proof regulars this is probably my favorite. It’s got the complexity I look for from a porter but it’s very well balanced. Ferris (16077) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 30, 2014
Draft - Roast malts and a little coffee. Jet black with a thin brown head. Roast malts and some slight burnt grains. Finish is bitter and dry. Average. mverity (294) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - FEB 12, 2014
Pours a rich, deep brown. Nice creamy tan head and pretty good lacing. The aroma isn’t too bad: heavily roasted malt and charred oak. The flavor is a deep roasty sweetness. Some earthy woodiness. Silky-silty mouthfeel, nice full body, and low-medium carbonation. Aurelius (5426) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - DEC 28, 2013
Fruity, olivine aroma with very light creosote. INky. Tan head. Very smooth, lightly sweet, a bit fruity. Generally, just a clean and rich beer. Roasty finish. Good drinking. Dark cocoa very apparent in the finish. Proof, on Tap w/PorterPounder.
