Draft at the Craft Bar 30A. Dark brown color with a small brown head. Aroma is dark roasted malt and booze. The bourbon appears in the flavor. Nice vanilla and honey with some coffee. Creamy mouthfeel too. The flavors really morph as it warms. Very nice. glennmastrange (2949) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - MAY 29, 2017
Tap. Heavy malt aromas of milk chocolate, toasted and nutty, no noticeable hops, moderate dough for the yeast, with toffee and bourbon in the background. Head is average sized, creamy, light tan, with some slippery lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is very dark brown. Flavor starts moderately sweet and faintly acidic, then finishes lightly to moderately sweet and faintly bitter. Palate is medium to full, creamy, with a soft carbonation and a sticky finish. Excellent Imperial Stout with nice overtones of chocolate and a hint of barrel aging. DialSquare (5198) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 8, 2016

On draft at Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Tampa. Great thick luscious pour, that has great depth and gives both stout and barrel characteristics. Oily with little head retention, but soft dark roast flavor. Barrel pops later in swallow with nuts and cinnamon. Super well done.

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2017 Rerate Very cloying and soy sauce-like this time time around, Original 4.0. Tallahassee, Fl - on tap at Proof. Deep, dark black pour, thickish mocha colored head, nice lacing. Aroma has some nice chocolate accents, some creosote, a touch of licorice. Flavor has a touch of chocolate, a hint of bourbon, just a trace of kids sweet cereal. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy. jbruner (5603) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - APR 22, 2016
Bottle thanks to scotchzi! Pours an opaque black from the bomber with thin ring of tan brown head that leaves light lace but slips down the glass. Aroma of huge vanilla and wood notes, a hint of earthy tobacco, big chocolate. Taste is all that plus a hint of soy and a bitter hoppy finish. Thick and viscous, a hint of oxidation, but really nice all around. Booze is well hidden, but still there. kchampagne (173) - Jacksonville, Florida, USA - APR 20, 2016
This beer is absolutely phenomenal. Pours thick black with a dark brown head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is definitely bourbon. No mistaking that, but you also get a bit of dark rich chocolate. Mouthfeel is slick with light carbonation. Perfect for this beer. Flavor is just like the aroma and there’s a nice warming sensation from the high abv. This is a great pick up and I’m glad I got to enjoy one. Aurelius (5682) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 4, 2016
10w40 appearance, clingy tan head. High octane, rich bourbon aroma, dark fruit, cocoa, sensuous nose. Slippery mouthfeel, fairly sweet, some wood, vanilla, moderate whiskey, chocolate, roast, ABV burn towards the end. Very mouthy, dark cocoa and alcohol bitterness at the end. Thanks to Smitty for hooking me up after the keg ran out. Stellar. Bad arse. Nationwide. On a beautiful pre-spring day at the brewery. LuckyDog (615) - - MAR 4, 2016
One of the best beers I’ve ever had. Very smooth. Not too boozy. Some chocolate notes.
