Growler courtesy of jbruner. Thanks. Pours a light brown color with a big fluffy off-white head that has very good retention. The aroma is big and bold with fresh grapefruit, mangoes, peaches and some pine. The taste does not exactly follow the nose, there is a bitter grapefruit presence, but its really the malts that drive this bus. There is big rich malty character with loads of toffee, caramel, bread dough and some biscuit. Plenty of complex hops compliment the big malt character--I can pick out pineapple, grapefruit, melons and pine resins. The palate is full, smooth and viscous; but also a bit greasy. The carbonation is soft. Finishes medium in duration and a bit bitter-sweet. Overall: Very nice take on the DIPA, very tasty. Just wanna add that this paired most excellently with Reggiano parma cheese, unsalted almonds and Castelvetrano olives as nibble food.
Pours a cloudy golden yellow with big fluffy head. Aromas of tropical fruits, grass, and some brett funk. Flavors are all tropical, grassy, yeasty, with some lingering funk. mike5326 (1745) - virginia beach, Virginia, USA - DEC 17, 2015
Poured from a tap. Clear golden color, medium frothy white head. Medium fruity hops aroma. Medium body with a sweet medium hops flavor and a slight apricot and bitter finish.

Deep amber pour. Small off white head. No lacing. Nice resinous piney aroma. Malt up front, some piney citrusy notes follow. Yeast hint in the background. dchmela (3062) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUN 27, 2015
Tap at Oblivion pours a clear gold. Big pine hop aroma with citrus notes. Clean malt, tons of pine and citrus hops. Really well done. WVHouseofBeer (1065) - West Virginia, USA - JUN 6, 2015
Really good with a nice bitterness and balance with the malt. Crisp, clean and refreshing.

Weak and flimsy IPA. Doesn’t hold up on flavor, color, or aroma. Nothing stands out as special here. Smooth, hoppy flavor. Slight citrus notes and goes down easy. BMMillsy (1788) - Florida, USA - DEC 19, 2014
On tap at First Magnitude as a guest tap. Orange gold pour. This wasn’t bad but just not something I’d get again. Medium plus bodied, not the dank west coast style I love. Dryish bitterness. Meh. rdixon77 (2763) - Georgia, USA - NOV 22, 2014
A straight solid IPA. Amber colored with good lacing. Lots of grapefruit and floral notes in the nose. Solid body with nice bitter finish. Drinkable and smooth. DocJitsu (1972) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - OCT 30, 2014

>> Great off-white to tan lacing above a clear amber pour. Would prefer a lighter SRM for hoppy pale beers. Nose is salty, black tea, dried leaves. Taste is malty, piney, tea leaves. Mild acidic balance finish, mild oil, sweeter. More on the amber ale side than IPA.
