On tap @Proof Brewing Company. Great head with small dark cream colored foam lacing. Mouthful is very coffee driven, body isn’t too heavy and the alcohol is well masked. Good stout overall, seems likely to be a staple for them to come.
Pours a deep thick black. Aroma is deep malt roastiness, coffee, and a smidge of cocoa. Taste is wonderfully similar. Really viscous stout. Great mouthfeel. rbrazell (1763) - Florida, USA - OCT 22, 2012
Pour is almost black with a small creamy tan head. Nose is nice roasted and chocolate notes with underlying prunes. Smooth chocolate and roasted malts in the flavor with a slightly bitter finish. Pretty tasty. PorterPounder (8286) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 12, 2012
Tallahassee, Fl - on tap at the brewpub. Dark black pour, nice thick khaki head, sticky lacing. Aroma of dark black coffee and creosote. Flavor has a nice roasty undertone to it with some licorice accents, a heavy does of black coffee and a brief touch of tobacco in the back end. Mouthfeel is nice and dry. Excellent. daknole (11402) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - SEP 30, 2012

Growler from the brewery. Black-brown pour with a brown head an spotty lacing. Aroma is a pleasant mix of coffee and chocolate. Tastes are roasty malt, milk chocolate and bitter coffee. Slick thin to medium texture. Well done. jbruner (5285) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - SEP 23, 2012
Pours an opaque brownish black on tap with thin brown head and good lacing. Aromas of roasted malts, coffee, and slight bitter grain. Taste is super malty, with roasted and toasted flavors up front, then a bitter coffee finish. Slightly alcoholic for a basic stout, but the alcohol is well hidden and the balance is exceptional, making it very drinkable. Very nice for the first stout they produced.
