650ml bottle from NSLC, Baddeck NS. A slightly hazy pale amber pour with a ring of white head; woody aroma with obvious alcohol; resinous piney taste; sharply bitter with grapefruit and alcohol to finish. Very unbalanced.

Sampled from the tap at Maxwell’s Plum. Pours a clear gold with a white head throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has sweet citrus and grass with a sweet grain backbone. Appearance: clear, amber with excellent clarity and a very fine, durable head. Lots of lacing.
Hoppy aroma with sweet malts.
Flavor: Hops dominate; bready malt base. Earthy and faintly herbal. Medium bitterness for style.
Mouthfeel: near medium carbonation and body.
