COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not for the faint of heart. True India Pale Ales had to withstand long sea voyages before slaking the thirst of cranky British troops stationed in the heat of India. Bracing, bitter, higher in alcohol. Trademark Propeller quality. A full-bodied ale for full-throttle beer lovers. Drink fresh.

(Bottle) Pours golden. Hoppy and fruity aroma of apricot, pine and stale flowers. Nutty, almond-ish and light caramelly toffee like malt profile. Hoppy and fruity flavour with a pretty massive but somewhat stale tea like hoppiness. Good, clean and sweet malt backbone. Dry, grapefruity medium bitterness. Medium bodied.

JoeMcPhee with the ill Canadian hook ups. I mean really, I would never get to try all this fine Canuck beer if it was not for him, thank you very much Joe (oh yeah, blame Canada). 22oz bomber pours a dark golden color. Aroma is apple-like hops with some musky-lagered aspects. Taste is a a bit thicker malt biscuit with plenty of light hoppiness.

Bottle, Very malty for an IPA, it is a little citrusy. I found the first few sips some what bad. But as I drank more I began to enjoy it a far bit. It had a decent bitterness to it. Overall good and easy drinking stuff that I would have again

From bottle. Pours a dark golden colour with an excellent head atop. Potent pine aroma, Apple’s and a touch of lemon too. Prominent hoppy flavor as you’d expect, not too sweet though more of a malty/caramel flavor. Lingering aftertaste and not excessively carbonated tick my box.

Bottle from LCBO. Hazy gold. Aroma: peach and pine. Taste: pine, fruits, medium-bitter finish. An relatively easy-drinking IPA, nothing wrong with it.
