From bottle. Pours a dark golden colour with an excellent head atop. Potent pine aroma, Apple’s and a touch of lemon too. Prominent hoppy flavor as you’d expect, not too sweet though more of a malty/caramel flavor. Lingering aftertaste and not excessively carbonated tick my box. kevinsenn (2209) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 1, 2013
Bottle from LCBO. Hazy gold. Aroma: peach and pine. Taste: pine, fruits, medium-bitter finish. An relatively easy-drinking IPA, nothing wrong with it. vadie (1256) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 18, 2014

The beer pours a translucent metallic gold with a slow forming snow white head. The aroma is citrus, caramel, and earthy notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is light grapefruit, some caramel, some grains, and a decent bitter finish. Quite good.
Lots of lacing. Golden and hazy. Lightheaded. Growler. Bitter a lottlemalt and good hops.

light gold color small whtie head. Smells of passion fruit & light sweet citrus w/ a carmel back. Palte is only avg. Flavor is a sweet light malt hitns of tropical fruits no real bitterness. Reminded me of a weak try at exponential hoppiness. MartinT (9880) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 17, 2006
UPDATED: JUN 20, 2006 Any first impressions?
-A veil of head remains over the clear tan-orange.
-A wooden, sandy, resinous hop perfume (Simcoe?) subtly seduces the nostrils.
-Caramel maltiness and citrusy, floral hoppiness coalesce smoothly.
-Mouthfeel and carbonation are a little lazy, but they do their job of carrying the restrained flavors.
What if you dig deeper?
-Some butterscotch appears in the nose, but not too agressively.
-A frank hop bitterness showers the finale.
-Peaches and citrus pulp ease the quaffing.
-Halfway between British and American IPA, this remains drinkable and friendly all the way through.
Bottle; produced the 2nd week of March (2006 I presume).
